1-day accelerated: The 1-day Accerated ACLS course covers all the skills requires the student to study, review the videos and take the pre-test prior to class. Shorter or no breaks. This is a blended course consist of Part 1 and Part 2. . Part 1 - Student must complete the Heartcode online before the the Part 2- in-person class. We offer this course more regularly.

2 day In-Person Full Course: The 2 day ACLS course covers all the classroom and skills. It provides the student to study time, review the videos and take the pre-test prior to class. Shorter or no breaks. Students are required to do pre works prior to attending the classroom course. This will help our instructors to run the class efficiently faster and quicker. Class completes with a written and skills exams. We offer this course more regularly.
ACLS Renewals/Updates done approximately 6 hours, depending on class size.
The 1-day ACLS Renewal/Update program is for students renewing with current or recently expired cards (less than a year expired) who wish to remain certified. All renewals must present proof of valid or recent expired AHA ACLS card/ecard/certificate
The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course is designed for health care professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiac arrest, stroke, or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. Through didactic instruction and active participation in simulated cases, students will enhance their skills in the recognition and time-sensitive intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, post–cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion, participants should be able to:
1. Apply the basic life support (BLS), primary, and secondary assessments sequence for a systematic evaluation of adult patients
2. Discuss how the use of a rapid response team or medical emergency team may improve patient outcomes
3. Discuss early recognition and management of acute coronary syndromes, including appropriate disposition
4. Discuss early recognition and management of stroke, including appropriate disposition
5. Recognize bradycardias and tachycardias that may result in cardiac arrest or complicate resuscitation outcome
6. Perform early management of bradycardias and tachycardias that may result in cardiac arrest or complicate resuscitation outcome
7. Model effective communication as a member or leader of a high-performance team
8. Recognize the impact of team dynamics on overall team performance
9. Recognize respiratory arrest
10. Perform early management of respiratory arrest
11. Recognize cardiac arrest
12. Perform prompt, high-quality BLS, including prioritizing early chest compressions, ventilation, and integrating early automated external defibrillator use
13. Perform optimized management of cardiac arrest until termination of resuscitation or transfer of care, including post–cardiac arrest care
14. Evaluate resuscitative efforts during a cardiac arrest through continuous assessment of CPR quality, monitoring the patient’s response, and delivering real-time feedback to the team
Students must hold a Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider card to take the course. Students must pass a written exam and megacode skills test in order to qualify for an ACLS Provider Course Completion Card.

The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Video Prework involves a student reviewing course content through online videos before entering the classroom. The video lessons cover multiple medical subjects and each lesson includes questions to engage the student. The ACLS Video Prework allows more classroom time for hands-on skills training and leads to the student being better prepared to participate as soon as they enter the classroom. Each student must also complete the Precourse Self-Assessment and achieve a score of at least 70% before taking the ACLS Course. The student must print their completion certificate upon successful completion and bring it with them to class.

This advanced course highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. ACLS also covers airway management and related pharmacology.
Please note that ACLS Initial by American Heart Association regular program is 10-12 hours. With Healthforce we try our best to complete the discipline within a day (6-10 hours), depending on class size and shorten breaks. For classes more than 6 students may take 8-10 hours. Usually we cater small class sizes, so expect to finish training in an average of 6-8 hours for initial, and 4-6 hours for renewal.
