The training course curriculum is developed by devoted child care educators specializing in early childhood education and baby development. This is an excellent opportunity to those who will care for newborns and young infants and wants a formal training.

 

The training covers variety of topics from infant health & safety / infant cpr and aed, infant choking and caring for fussy babies.

How Long is the Course:

               

The  OnCampus course at a training center is fun, interactive and informative, two full days intensive course. Students will cover a great deal of information in segments and will take a basic competency test at the end of the course.

 

Students will receive booklet, and materials/handouts.

 

How do I Register:

 

  • Registration must be done in advance to reserve a space in the class of your choice.

Who Should Attend:

 

This is a professional development course for anyone who will care for newborns and infants, For both inexperienced and experienced nannies, babysitters, baby nurses, Infant Caregivers, Au Pairs, HHA's, CNA's, Child Care Providers, Daycare Teachers, or anyone who will care for newborn infant babies personally or professionally. Classes are held in English.

 

Note: This class is a specialized child care course and is not a medical class and will not prepare for work in a medical facility. 

 

Requirements:

               

Must be at least 18 years of age, English Speaking, One form of photo ID (passport is acceptable)

 

Whats Next after class: 

 

There is no national non-profit organization that exists primarily for certification of Newborn Care Specialists. Individual and employers find that there is a need for consistency in credentialing of Newborn Care. To answer this need, we have developed our program using evidence-based practice criteria. The program has been designed for use by Newborn Care Specialist Professionals. The focus of the program is to provide a framework and credentialing process for baby nurses knowledge and independence in the performance of Newborn Care. 

 

We are not an employment agency, but we do have an employment assistance services.
